CAROLE WANG has proven in the past to provide the utmost style and elegance using Classic Velveen Knits, sold through specialty stores and major retailers such as Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom. Because of past health issues with her family and the abuse of our natural environment, there is nothing more important to Carole Wang than being able to look into the future and help preserve our earth for future generations. It is for this reason that Carole Wang has decided to go green by offering two all natural fiber lines – Carole Wang knits and Dragon by Carole Wang. For all Carole Wang Classic couture handloom knit customers, you can go green by replacing the traditional Velveen to 100% eco-friendly bamboo. Visit: http://carolewang.com/

TRACY WONG. I have always had a fascination with historical eras, especially those that were opulent and exquisite. Sometimes I would imagine myself wearing a straight, fringed dress, swaying to jazz in an art deco hall, other times I’m a very affluent woman living in Shanghai in the 1930s. And in my ultimate fantasy, I see myself walking through the Palace of Versailles, trying to fit my farthingale through the doors.

My aesthetic is deeply rooted from these fascinations of mine and they very much molded me into a romanticist. While keeping it romantic, I strive to design pieces that are feminine and luxurious, but sometimes dark with a slight risqué touch. Visit: http://www.chuichuidesigns.com/

DAHAE KIM is a contemporary menswear designer based in San Francisco. Originally from South Korea, she specializes in conceptual menswear design. Dahae moved to San Francisco in 2005 to attend the Academy of Art University, where she received a portfolio scholarship from CFDA in 2007.

Dahae currently has her own line called Homme by Dahae Kim (www.hommedahaekim.com) and is a head designer at Tailored, San Francisco (a high-end menswear design house based in San Francisco - www.tailoredgood.com)

A diverse experience in the fashion industry has garnered her unique design ethos: dark, asymmetrical, conceptual, complex, and structural. The subtle mix of flowing drapery and structural tailoring is considered avant-garde and provides the emphasis to this ethos.

Dahae draws inspiration from contemporary sounds, music, the dark side of life, and psychotic concepts, and creates an alchemic interpretation of modern life.

DIERDRE WALLACE. Inspired by living in San Francisco, I wanted to design shoes that were quite unique, works of art and offered accessibility to women to really bare all in deeFind shoes. Conceptually futuristic architecture has always been appealing to me: dynamic angles, bold lines, audacious structural gestures – all frequently reflected in my design aesthetic.  In keeping with the sensibilities of futurism exploring, the desired outcome was incorporate sustainable materials, while providing drop-dead sexy, eco-friendly products.  Working hard to produce the most refined designs I am capable of, as I fanatically search for alternative materials and creative methods.  Each handmade pair of deeFind shoes is constructed in humane working conditions with comparable wages.  deeFind will donate 5% of proceeds to environmental conservation and women’s services.

WEN GUO was trained as an architect from Asia and the US, Wen has come a long way from her first time cutting a dress in her childhood to the nowadays runway. She was born and raised in China. She always enjoyed making her paper shoes and cutting her own skirts through growing up. However, following her tiger mom’s wish, she entered a business school. After one year of boring accounting class and a mini fight with her family, she sneaked away to University of Hong Kong and changed her major into Architecture as a compromise between creative mind and survival skills.

After a few years, she graduated from UC Berkeley, got her license done and practiced in a pretty cool firm called Skidmore Owings and Merrill LLP and started designing skyscrapers. Life was all good. However, Wen never forgot her little dream from her early days. She took breaks from work again and again until she could not stand the itch, eventually in July 2011, she quit the job and officially started running Boditecture fashion design.

That’s where all these clothes coming from. As a baby starting point, the collections have already drawn a handful of media attentions in the west coast and attracted a group of customer. Let’s wish Boditecture the best luck so that her mom does not keep bugging her! Visit: http://boditecture.com/about.shtml
